Mamode’s live sets focus on crowd connection and engagement, sing-rapping over bassy beats and rhythmic drum patterns - like a spoken word performance with groovy, danceable undertones. With sessions on Boiler Room, Worldwide FM, and Soundcheck.tv, Mamode dominates the present moment with his soulful subtlety.

His Mauritian lineage alongside a Western upbringing results in a sound and lyricism revolving around themes of cross-culture, interfusion, and the connectedness of humanity. With hints of hip-hop, jazz, soul, afro, funk, and the percussive sounds Sega and Maloya, Mamode records and performs with freedom and intuition - evoking feelings of universal love and compassion.
