When Labyrinth came out earlier this year, all five tracks made it to the weekly rotations on local stations, with two hit singles “Blue Dreams” and the now-iconic “Sahara” paving the way for a wider audience. The EP was a collaborative masterpiece by August Wahh and renowned producer crwn, who happens to be from her same hometown. The two continued on to take their music around Manila’s music scene and to the big stages of the city.

Last week, they played their first international show together in Wonderfruit, Thailand - Asia’s staple music festival that went on from 12 to 16 December. Playing on the SOT Stage alongside artists of Def Jam, Red Bull and others, August Wahh & crwn rocked it at Sunday sunset - vibing with a captivated crowd and performing exciting new tracks that were yet to be released - one of which was featured on Island City Philippines, a live sessions platform for independent Filipino artists making waves.

For her first solo release, August Wahh drops ‘Know What I Want,’ a soulful and smooth love song with a dreamy disposition and the perfect amount of crunch. We’re introduced into a solid bassline embellished with playful instrumentals before August brings forth her voice - one that speaks softly and surely, confident and wholly decisive. ‘Know What I Want” mirrors the path of her musicality which points towards bigger things on the horizon.
