August Wahh joins the family!
Filipina singer-songwriter August Wahh constantly strives to convey the human experience in her music. In partnership with AD Music Group (UK), August Wahh is our first co-management expansion on a global territory.
August Wahh debuted in the late 2000’s and has since become a force in the Philippine music scene. Beginning her career leading a neo-soul / jazz band, August dove deep with her lyricism and occasional spoken-word poetry. Her artistry remains poetic as her sound progresses into R&B, with hints of hip-hop and rap. Finding inspiration in the synergy of chaos and serenity, she tells stories in such a way that makes listeners groove and move.
Born and raised in a militarized province in the southern part of the Philippines, August grew up around nature and danger. She moved to Manila in 2007 to pursue her passion and calling in music, bringing with her a unique worldview shaped by a unique experience. Over the years, she has collaborated with a diverse selection of musicians from around the globe.

August has shared the stage with the likes of Fred Wesley and Taylor McFerrin, and opened for Erykah Badu, Daniel Caeser, and RAC. Her latest EP with renowned producer crwn was released in June 2019 and quickly shot into local radio rotations and playlisted internationally. Labyrinth is a melodic story about bringing one’s self out of a dark place, keeping your cool, and keeping it real.
